What did you get from your friends and family today?

I may be in my twenties but I got quite a lot. I mean, I feel like a spoilt brat but hey, that’s what happens when we’re loved isn’t it? I can’t wait to have children of my own to spoil and give the world to, I’m sure that’s an amazing feeling in it’s self.

I am!

It’s Christmas Eve and I can’t believe it.

This year has just flown by, and I haven’t really got anything that I wanted from the year. It’s a real shame and it’s time that we can NEVER get back isn’t it?

I’m going to set some decent new year’s resolutions this year and make sure that I discipline myself so that I stick to them and accomplish and achieve just a little bit more next year so I don’t feel this same disappointed exactly a year today.

How long have you been using a computer?

I was talking to a few friends about this today and was quite surprised to find out that we had all been using a computer for well over 10 years of our lives.

I think we were fortunate to be born into a very special era. The computer and the internet are fabulous creations and have turned our world upside down for the better. It has created so many opportunities that we may not have had before, and it’s wonderful.

How long have you been using a computer? How were you introduced? What did you think when you first used one? I, myself, was introduced in primary school on a day out at our local college. I remember getting an email account and being blown away. “What is this?” I thought, and I was hooked – 10 plus years later and I haven’t looked back.

What’s your story?

1. Appearance

True, appearance isn’t everything but it’s a large part of the reason that we, as consumers, will buy and try a product. It must look simple enough as well as powerful.

2. Simplicity

Not everybody is a computer wizard like myself, and maybe even yourself. A good piece of software, like regcure, will need to be very simple to use and n00b friendly.

3. Effectiveness

The other two points are important, but this is what really counts at the end of the day. A great piece of software needs to locate errors and then repair them correctly, leaving none behind and leaving our computer as we bought it many months/years before.

The leader is still internet explorer, sadly…

They’re leading only because their browser comes with every installation of the windows operating systems, so most users don’t realise that they actually have a choice.

Firefox will take over in the next few years, at least in my humble opinion.

Firefox is fantastic. Opera is pretty good. Internet Explorer is deadful. Truly, truly, dreadful. I just read that they are not starting to update their browsers silently so that users don’t really have a choice or say in the matter, which I believe is wrong.
